Why, you may ask? Well, because the first two episodes of the Ouran english dub came out. And it's good. I didn't even know it was possible for an anime dub to be good. My world is collapsing all around me. And I'm enjoying it.

Writer's Craft, as much work as it is, does give me crazy large amounts of ideas when we get those assignments. Posting of an attempted prose poem. The assignment was to write a prose poem with a few guidelines. It should start with either 'I believe' or 'because'. It should work from an idiom, proverb or adage. It should describe how a sense induces memory. Now, I think this meets all the criteria except maybe that last one. This story can totally have two different names.

So I just saw The Dark Knight. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be, what with all the hype, but it was still an amazing movie. Much love to Christian Bale and Heath Ledger. Maggie Gyllenhaal can go suck an egg though. Not a big fan. Her character was such an...ugh. After the movie, me and my friends were walking down Queen Street and one of them was like:
"Hey, they could totally do a sequel. Joker didn't die!"
"Well, maybe not, but Heath Ledger did."
"Oh, right...fuck!"

At the moment, I would have to say Hoban 'Wash' Washburne from Firefly. He's just awesome. He pilots a spaceship and he plays with toy dinosaurs, for christ's sake! What isn't there to love about him? Him and Mal. They just crack me up. As for who bugs me...Edward Cullen, if only for the fact that everybody's talking about him. I mean, get over it! He's a vampire, whoop-de-fuckin-doo. He sparkles. What the hell.

BUT, it was absolutely amazing. My phone's wallpaper is now Josh, with Matt in the background. Ian was drunk after the show, and THAT was hilarious. I now has a Shake Tramp shirt. And a signed album cover-thingy. Oh yeah, I'm cool.
OH, and their second opening band, We Are the Take was pretty good. They're from Toronto. (Woot!)
